Emily Merritt

Hi there, I’m Emily! I’m a senior art director from the NY/NJ Metro Area.

I am super passionate about creating impactful designs that help brands push the boundaries of marketing. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to gain experience across many industries by working for amazing agencies and alongside diverse teams, which has given me a great depth of knowledge of the design world. When people ask what I design, it’s hard to answer because I’ve touched a lot of design areas - logos, brochures, websites, social media, emails, advertising campaigns, events, and almost any print marketing item you can think of!

I hold an Associate of Arts in Communication Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, with a minor in English Writing from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In addition to design, I’ve always had a passion for writing and literature, and I chose to refine my writing to complement my design skills.

Outside of design, I’ll never pass up an opportunity to learn something new. As a coffee lover, I’ve spent over a year working as a barista, refining my knowledge of the art of coffee. If I’m not exploring new cafes, you can find me supporting my local library, playing video games, or spending time with my family!
